| What a glorious place! For one perfect afternoon, I was king! My mastery over the powers of "Cute" seemed to really work on the people here. Everywhere I went they would stop to pet me, or give me treats. I knew that praticing on my folks would pay off in the end!
I could not be stopped! No matter what dog I came across, I could always force them to play with me. I wonder? Do the powers of "Cute" work on other dogs as well? I usualy make this face when someone takes my toy away from me. It makes me angry... and you won't like me when I'm angry! RAR!
Here are just some random pictures my folks decided to take while I was getting into trouble. I know it's difficult, but please, the attention doesn't always need to be on me.

| Well I can't say I'm thrilled with the past few days. I have received my first... what is the word they used for this wretched water torture... Bath? Sounds right. This was not a pleasant experience in the least! I had just gotten myself to the perfect level of scent and texture when they must have decided I smelled far better than they did. So this horrific activity was designed (no doubt by some sick minded person) to strip me of my hard earned smell, only to replace my sleek fur and rather aromatic fragrance with an uncomfortable fluffy hair and this awful "baby powder" smell. I must hunt down the maker of this powder and have a few choice words with them. So not only was I soaked, soapy, and ashamed, to add insult to injury, I was photographed! The nerve!!! Does it look like I enjoyed this "Kodak Moment" to you? You tell me!

There is a reason my folks had to hold my head up. Can anyone guess why? Maybe it was the over powering smell of SHAME!

Then they wrapped me in this cloth. And I'm pretty sure that the "Yoda" comments my folks where making, were NOT compliments.
However, before I was put into this bath thing, my people decided to grant me a few minutes of euphoria, by letting me play in the dirty laundry. It was such a wonderful experience, I should have known it was too good to last.

All in all it wasn't TOO bad of a day I suppose. After I had dried from the bath treatment, I immediately went outside and rolled in anything and everything I could find to get my scent back to normal. I just wish my folks would stop complaining so loudly when I do this... after all its REALLY hard work!

| Well it's almost been a week since I came to live here with my folks. I've discovered a lot, as well as learned many things.
Lesson 1. There really is no point in complaining loudly when put in my "crate" thingy. All it does is dry out my throat, which isn't very pleasant considering I can't get to my water anyway.
Lesson 2. Treats are a good thing, a VERY good thing. I have discovered that when I "answer the call of nature" as it were, I get a treat. So I decided to test this theory, and do it as frequently as I possibly can. Further observation of this theory has shown me a slight problem with this however. I only get the treat for doing it outside.
Lesson 3. If I start to feel that I'm not the center of absolute attention, all I need do is prick up my ears, sit down and tilt my head to the side, and someone will always come scratch my ears or pick me up. Even complete strangers! Hmmm... I must look further into these mysterious powers that I keep hearing refereed to as "cute".
And now that I have shared a few of my musings with you, I will present for your viewing pleasure, my favorite past time. Skitches, a portrait collage!

There you have it, a few candid shots of my busy busy life. It is so difficult sleeping and using my "cute" powers at the same time. The end result is I'm so exhausted that I have to sleep even more!

Hello everyone, my name is Skitches, and I am a 10 week old Pembroke Corgi! My folks just brought me to their new home today. And the trip so far has been.... well an adventure story so far. Some good things, some bad things, and things I still don't understand yet.
I got to have a "Cookie" for the very first time today. But what is this... cookie thing exactly. Some nice lady in a store called "Pet Smart" gave one to me today and I was confused, so I did the only logical thing I could think of... I licked it. What am I supposed to DO with these things anyway?
Here are some pictures of my sisters and myself before my folks came to take me home. I miss them, and I miss my old home. We had a big pen to play in, and it was outside. And I didn't have to wear this dratted "collar".

This is quite comfortable I have found. In fact I spent most of my evening at home lying around like this asleep. I find that sleeping on carpet under a ceiling fan is the best way to pass the time.

Grrrrr! Stringy rope thingie must die! I'm not sure why, but it annoyed me greatly. I would shake it, growl at it, even chew it, but it wouldn't move or run away!

Laps are a great spot to take a nap. Really, you should try it!

And to call it a day, a nice belly flop in the cool wet grass! I was getting ready for a whole night of uninterrupted play, when I got tricked with a treat into a crate... I don't think I like this crate thing very much.
